Want to do anything (within the realms of the many, many, expansion packs)? Consider it done. Want to have seven children and watch as they grow up? Done. For me, it was the fact that the world was my oyster, I could literally do anything. Of course, that’s not the entire appeal of The Sims. However, people seem to be delighted at the idea of doing these same tasks on behalf of these tiny pixel people called Sims. Cleaning the house, cooking, and doing the laundry – these are all tasks which people normally find to be insufferably dull. After all, the entire premise of the game is to complete the same mundane tasks we (hopefully) all complete in everyday life. I’ve always found it amusing that a series like The Sims has found so much popularity over the years. Also, I am so not used to the controls from The Sims 3, as I have never really played that game, so building using these controls take a little longer than usual hahah.What’s better than living out your own, complex yet ultimately fulfilling life? Living vicariously through the trials and tribulations of your Sims, of course! At least in build mode I think I still prefer the newer camera version when playing with my actual sims. So hey, I am actually trying out the Sims 3 cam a little right now. However, when watching build videos I have seen that also this cheat adds a lot more realism to the builds. I have never really used the moveobjects cheat, because I didn’t find it necessary in The Sims 4. The same thing hit me regarding the bb.moveobjects cheat.
It then became apparent to me that everyone uses the Sims 3 camera, and after some googling I found that using the Sims 3 camera is also the only way to use free rotation i build/buy mode!? Well, when watching all these videos, I realised that I really want to be able to rotate my furiture freely when I build, since that gives a much more realistic look to the interior.
What camera settings do you use in The Sims 4? I have always used the Sims 4 camera, and was very happy with it until I recently started looking a lot more at build videos on Youtube.
